Wäinö Aaltonen Museum of Art

The Wäinö Aaltonen Museum of Art (WAM) is the Turku City Art Museum and named after the famous sculptor from Turku. For more than 40 years this modernist white museum building has been reflected in the River Aurajoki, becoming part of the cultural landscape on the east bank.

In addition to changing exhibitions, the programme includes various cultural events, lectures, concerts and theme days for families. 

The museum is also home to the pleasant Café Wäinö and the Wäinön valinta museum shop. - Wampula - the adorable museum mascot Wampula
